Two-thirds of the time I spent reading Twilight I must have had a smirk on my face, because this book seems to be the perfect combination of teenage romance and teenage high drama. Combining absolute love and absolute disaster is pretty much what Young Adult novels are all about these days, and the fantasies are perfect ways to capture the absolutism of teenage feeling and belief. So when you have in Twilight a young, socially awkward woman who falls for her high school’s most eligible vampire, I mean, how can you knock it? We’ve all been there before.A fantastically fun book.
